Death

Death

A Poem by Kris Tate

Death is waiting...
See him there...
Just around the corner

It may be a gun in a bar
...a knife in the store
...a slip in the rain

Death approaches with silent wings
...knows where you will be
...can't miss

He is in league with the coroner
Waiting to catch you in the tar

Lets see what we are waiting for
Death...those lonely feelings

This is a powerful piece that makes you think alot...it is very true that we dont know when or how death is coming, there is no way to truely prepare yourself for the thought of not living...i like this poem because you gave imagery..i enjoyed the read..
