My Thoughts Concerning Him

Trust doesn't exist in my world

A little part of me knows

that it will all end the same.

With scars and tears

and all the effort will be in vain.

I know your devotion will fade,

that there is no hope,

only rain clouds ahead

and with the storm I will have to cope.

And with this knowledge 

I suppose I'm just curious...

wondering how you'll break

my heart.
