Who Are You

Who Are You

A Poem by traveling mind
"

mother and child relationship

"

I won't live with darken skies

And with the lies that fill my head

You htink you're coy

You think you can toy with my emotions

Do you think I still care

Can you spare your heart

The walls you built

Are tall and full of wonder

They can't be torn down

For they are invisale to you

You bared life into me

You tried to take it back

I stare at you and ask

Who you are to me

Did i know you ever

Did you ever care

I stain the pillow

With unnoticed tears

I searh for a rare moment

I come up empty

I long to belong

But not on your terms

The lies are stronger

Than my weak heart

The more time goes by

The less I feel

You tried to take control

You tried to steal

What was left of my soul

Am I not real enough for you

Didn't I bleed enough

I couldn't mind the rules enough

I grew so fast every memory is a blur

There's nothing left for you to do

Darekn skies

A head full of lies

Is all that bind me to you

You touched my inner being

Leaving a tainted trace

Of a clouded face

I know longer know

I'm filled with untold thoughts

One of them being; all I needed was you.
