Does thy love

Does thy love

A Poem by Sarah Redigan

Does thy love stand in front of me with obedience of the heart

Does thy love wrap thy arms in embrace in times of cold
Does thy love triumph in a joyful bliss in moments of happiness
Does thy love never die but live eternally
Does thy love show fear when mine own heart deceives me
Does thy love as deep as the ocean as wide as the sea
Does thy love reach to the moon & stars in the sky  that will never burn out
Does thy love never trick or trade or cause treason
Cuz thy love
Thy love is never ending
Thy love knows no jealousy or hate
Thy love is pure
Like a tiny bird taking flight for the first time
Like a lovely caterpillar hatching from its cocoon reaching out with big beautiful wings not knowing what it shall reach in the horizon
Does thy love
UNKNOWING
UNBELIEVABLE
&
NEVER-ENDING

This is much different than I'm used to seeing and a pleasant change it is. You describe ideal notions of love through questions worthy of asking than state verses worthy of listening to. (Never-ending) I think that's a perfect way of ending a great poem such as this. Very well done.

You are too. :)
Very interesting. I enjoyed the creativity. The repetition of the first three words in the beginning was cool. One thing, the 6th line doesn't make sense grammatically, but that is an easy fix.

A beautiful poem written with the skill and structure of the master Poet's. I like the repetition in this poem. Allow the reader to fall into the words and the desire. I like the complete poem. A very good ending to outstanding poem.
