The Love that had to Leave

The Love that had to Leave

A Poem by Mortricia
"

A simple poem, from my heart. Anything true really is simple, after all.

"
A daydream is my sadness tonight
when I think of the love
of the man with the red eyes
nicotine-stained lenses and old fashioned rims
I wanted him to see me
chest fielded in svelte, masculine fur
But he was a bad man
Mother said,
that he was a bad man
but I loved him, and;
I think he could see me.

This is interesting. I am curious as to who the figure is. A powerful one ...a father or minister perhaps?
