Aksdflaisefsald

Aksdflaisefsald

A Poem by Truman S. Booth
"

ax•dih•FLAY•siff•sawld

"
When hair still grows atop your head
Though all your family's bald,
The joy you feel is best described
As aksdflaisefsald.

When someone learns to play guitar
Though both their hands are mauled
The perfect adjective for them
Is aksdflaisefsald.

When you're reminded of a thing
That could not be recalled,
The thanks to your reminder must
Be aksdflaisefsald.

Most anytime you see a thing
That makes you feel enthralled
Beyond belief, the thing to say
Is "Aksdflaisefsald!"

Dani made up this word in one of our message threads. It was used as a very strong adjective—I assume it was created by frivolous keystrokes—and I've become quite fond of it. Hope you enjoyed.

Ha! This was an amusing read! Nonsense words that find a foothold in our vocab are fun. Good work.

This is inventive and I think OT is correct in his review. This actually made me smile.

hahaha like mary poppins meets Dr Seuss - what particularly impressed me here was how you worked 'aksdflaisefsald' into the four beat - very clever and impressive - you know your poetry that's for sure - rhyme spot on - Nicholson Baker would applaud that beat - and yes, much enjoyed! bravo!

Perhaps this is selfish of me to say, but you seriously just made my life (and ironically enough, I'm laughing to death). Ha! How on earth did you remember the exact letters? Full of surprises, you are. Full of surprises.
