a thought i had when i thought you were mine

a thought i had when i thought you were mine

A Poem by TL

when i'm with you
you have the power to make me believe that
two plus two is five
and our bodies
are not made up of skin and bone
but of flowers and light
and despite the odds
despite the 7,499,999,999 other bodies in the world
ours just so happen
to fit together
perfectly

If your poem was an equation it would be something like x= 5-(2+2)

x = 1 - because you are just one together?

is this what you are getting at? and that if you weren't together it wouldn't satisfy your figure, it would be 7,500,001, with the one so obviously on its own when you're not together.

Oh my god! i love mathematical poems!
