Red and White

Red and White

A Poem by Lindsay.

A beautiful sight

Of red and white

Of hearts broken in two

(All because of you)

Snow is on the ground

(It doesn’t make a sound)

On this Valentines Day

There’s not much left to say.

Blood and snow

Beautiful, and no one knows

It’s a beautiful sight

Of red and white.

It’s what happens when you lie

It’s what happens when I die

But the snow will melt,

The chill will no longer be felt

The blood will go away

And you will wish you had stayed.
