Something I think of you

Sometimes I think of you
In a world far off and forgotten
In the morning sun and autumn rain
In the long drive in mountain plains.

You remind me of truths and dreams
That I clutch at deep and hidden
Being grateful for each new chance
Brushing myself off when given the circumstance.

With eyes welling or breath missing
Happiness overwhelming and
Sadness yanking me far under,
That's when, I think of you. Sometimes
