Government

Government

A Poem by Ty
"

Government, Truth, Protest

"
The Puppeteer dangles fear
And dollar bills
Ahoy! Here! Patriotic Captain Beard!
All aboard the Money Grubbing Power Trip
All inclusive? Eh, don't really fair diversity mix.
Whistles, bells, and shiny things
Just as long it's glistening
Doesn't matter who pulls the strings
The Great Sphinx, government arms, or Old St. Nick
Dr. Seuss, out of Cat in Hat rabbit tricks
None of you are listening
Or even care
Dungeons, dark, and deep;
A dragon's lair, but this jester fairs
The Hacktivist that isn't Anonymous
Riddled in magician's tricks
Belittling myths,
But isn't; considering it's significance
Then science disputes blatant ignorance
Argue against our feminists
Because you can't understand their positioning
Gwrgsd.. mother flustered fed up f*****g fiddlesticks
The Parish Boy's Progress; Oliver Twist
And we mustn't forget the sensitivity and the censorship
Which absolutely makes little sense
The topics society's truly concerned with
Then like a post as if you really give a s**t
Read and be aware of the oil sands dollar,
Where they're spending it,
And how many seats it holds in our government.
