Scarce Tree

Scarce Tree

A Poem by Ty
"

Scarce Tree

"
Words in a torrential downpour
Sudden, abrupt,
Abundantly
Flooding,
An expression
At times messy
Desperate
An explosion stemming from a spark
Igniting dark
Gone array, gone aloft
Furthermore,
Mine deep
Troubled, numb, or frantic sleep
It isn't subtle, it's your heart
Stumbled, fumbling among the fog
Felt it expand
Nest nestled in desolate land
A scarce tree amongst the desert and it's sand
Understand,
In hopes you'd meet demand
Or your standards for yourself if nothing else
Lattice wicker woven weaving in and out of Orion's Belt
Floating, roaming outer space
Drifting closer to the sun
Basking in warm solar wind
Reflection nebula illuminating
A spark igniting dark
Thoughts
These words.

I picture a tree that was struck by lighting and survived and it's all alone

"It's your heart...A scarce tree amongst the desert and it's sand."- brilliant metaphor and poem. Living words flow and wind like a river- exploding into passionate emotion...into space..into -words. Master-Class once again!
