Hand Of Empathy

As stars showered down in sheets,

We'd look around and somehow retrieve each piece,

At least find a friend in need

Of soul searching

With pain perched on each shoulder

Both hurting

And orbits hurtling

Which loops in replay

And Hirshhorn portrait halls in full circle

And panoramic views of paranoia

Or Sichuan Pandas,

Peace

Or Mercy

Certainly Mercury and I

Would harbor empires of empathy

Even in the face of adversity

Thirsty,

As we'd stand on the edge

Of Tanzania's watering holes and volcanic craters

I'd offer you water first

I'd offer you Venezuela's Angel Falls,

On the verge of approval and parch.

Empathy

Egyptian and Deep Koamaru patterning sea 

Energy

Love

And ambient radiance

To reach you

My empathy

As I'd imagine you'd tower over skyscrapers

Silhouettes emanating

Penetrating filtration

A pierced atmosphere

Amongst solar turbulence

Certain you'd reach calm

Nevertheless

In solace,

A hand of empathy.
