across the world,

maybe if I’m lucky,

into the universe

I can only be sewn together

Please find me

because even though I don’t know 

who you are yet

you complete me

 

I’ve been searching for you,

but you haven’t left stepping stones

or even a clue

Oh, please, help me find you

 

Please be there for me

because without you

I couldn’t be

 

I know you are out there

so I am searching

but don’t give up

because I am here

waiting for you

 

I’ve locked away my heart for others

and only you hold the key

 

I’m lonely without you,

so please, oh please, find me

Something I came up with one night after watching one of those movies where they instantly fall in love and know they are perfect for each other. So I came up with this, because this hasn't actually happened for me yet, well, so far, it's not even close�

Very beautiful and whimsical.
I love how you can feel the strong longing all throughout the piece.
A longing for a love yet unknown...

The only thing you might consider altering is taking the part:
"I can only be sticked together
by your love"

And changing it to something like:
I can only be -stuck- (or pieced) together
by your love

But again, lovely honest write. *sigh* I love those movies too. ^_^

how innocent and yet so filled with love and confusion and that desperation to meet yo soul-mate as soon as it can get! a very nicely penned poem...liked reading it!
