The Moon

my inspiration was the moon (in case u couldn't tell ;P haha) and it kinda got off topic, cuz it was supposed to be about how the moon steals my sleep :P

The moon

That ethereal beauty

Hangs in the sky

From spider webs

Speckled with dew

The moon

So bright and full

Of that white light

That spills across the

Ground at my feet

The moon

Calls out my name

Willing me to wake

To sing and dance

Underneath its gaze

The moon

Steals my attention

Holds my gaze in its own

As time slides by

It holds me captive

But truly. I love this poem. It was smooth, well writen and gave us a wonderful set of images that carried us into the moment and that eternal time or loss there of, while basking in Luna's gaze.
