Paolo (A Monster)

Paolo (A Monster)

A Poem by Orlando G Gonzales III
"

From the collection "Al Front: Soldado Instrúyete vol.2”

"
Willing to mention
the significance of sincere applause,
he (clearly) recalls
her indifference to prayer in the presence of other victims ...
... women defined by their own reluctance to scream
"his reputation as a monster
seems (only) appropriately obscene"

Prepared to ally with than benefit from shadows
(observed from the floor)
the remains of Francesca
shall address the presence of blood
produced to eliminate her obsession with Paolo ...
... a casualty of fate
lying (undressed) between the bed
and the light often ignored from the hotel corridor
