Stone statue

Stone statue

A Poem by Sarah

eeling trapped in this body,
Broken, damaged and useless,
Trapped in this body,
I'm nobody....
On this buddy that has scars,
From beatings, cuttings, and welts,
I head races with panicked thoughts...
A tired lioness wore after an attack,
Being strong as stone,
But the thing about stone,
Is that even that breaks down after storms,
Falling and breaking,
Weeping on the inside,
Strong as stone on the out.
Signs of weather starting to show,
It's only a matter of time till I crumble...

A couple typos but otherwise a poem I can relate to well.
I weep a tear for a young soul able to feel and write such cold sorrow.
Still, it is better to get it out and write it down.
