My Castle

My Castle

A Story by Tyler Cox

I am the king of my castle. From my perch I can view everything. Nothing goes on without my knowledge. My say is final; without question. My armies crush all enemies, with very few casualties. Our rivers are abundant with nutrients. I command almost six miles of land. Our barriers might be soft, but they are extremely durable as well. Our waste management rivals that of magic. Do not laugh at the term magic, most people believe in it. At the extremities we have huge glass plated metal shields. These are to the east, west, southeast, and southwest. To the very north is a dense forest that few would be bold enough to try to navigate through. These "attractions" are only the main ones, there are many minor ones that deserve to be noticed. But, alas, we are out of time. I am the king of my castle: the human body.
