Virtually

Virtually

A Poem by Nassira Merahi
"

the virtual world we are living in parallel with!

"

Right there at the edge of a virtual world

A pattern of mosaic in symmetrical den

Appear as a net of fishing swords

Abandoned suddenly, stormily stricken.

The timeless wiring stripped of beginning or end

Has infiltrated its way through crevasses and valleys

Following footsteps dug up by the rain

Swiftly engulfed by starving alleys.

Imagination here widely promoted

All shapes and figures sliding restlessly

Input by the hands of games devoted

      The capricious minds unleashed cloudlessly.

Such different samenesses in the two worlds, the good and bad, the sweet and sour .. too easy to have a foot in both, equally powerful.

'The timeless wiring stripped of beginning or end ~ Has infiltrated its way through crevasses and valleys'

'Right there at the edge of a virtual world ~ A pattern of mosaic in symmetrical den' - graphic thought put succinctly, Nassira.

Ah... how you blend nature and the Net with such earthly images. Me myself, I believe the virtual world has deprived us of our much needed unity with nature. Our imaginations are stumbled With one click of a mouse. But, it does have its beneficial qualities as well, I'll admit. Picturesque, my dear.
