Murder Scene

Murder Scene

A Poem by Victoria Nakis

A heart had been shattered,

Someone’s blood was splattered;

One soul was ripped apart.

The remains are still alive,

But the essence is gone; we need to revive!

What happened to this poor soul?

The eyes are haunted and red from crying;

Face gaunt, sick of trying.

But there was no struggle here…

Was there ever really an attack?

Why else would her heart be black?

It was taken, who this to happen?

It’s clear; Someone left them alone.

Here lies this poor girl, who is unknown;

Left to wallow with a broken heart, and an empty soul.

What a way to live her life,

At least she’s numb, she didn’t feel the knife.

She’ll never feel how dead she is inside.

Well....I realize it's depressing, but yeah. I'm more concerned about how it turned out. Feedback?

About
My name is Victoria. I've lost touch with writing lately, but it's always been a passion. It's my favorite outlet when the feelings I have can't be contained. I'm not particularly good at poetry.. more..
