I can see where this is going

Darling, I’ve seen this coming;

The impasse that’s been approaching all along,

Well it’s finally here; now make your move.

 

This could end up as being nothing,

Or you could turn it into everything.

Sweetie, let’s chose the first one,

Because all I’m saying is I want you to stay.

 

I want to take the path less traveled,

Where there’s no need to see things unraveled.

Let’s skip the conflict and fast forward to the happy ending.
