I forgave. Now its your turn

I was,  

 A kid traded,  

 for a truck after that,  

 I survived and built anger,  

 and forgave

I'm sorry for you that it's a true story, but I love poems that don't rhyme. I forget what thats called, but I love it. Also, try this cinquain form:

what your describing
two adjectives to describe that thing
two verbs that that thing does, ending in "ing"
a short sentence about the thing
a one word synonym to the thing.

Short and sweet. The way I love of poems. (Though I can't seem to be able to manage writing them like that.) I loved how you sent such a strong message, in so few words. WOW! That's all I got to say.

This is the voice of a person who experienced the agony of family. So few words, yet so strong a message. Good work! The fourth line is what really gets me, and if it wasn't for the title, the end would have completely taken me by surprise. The idea of building up all of that anger causes the reader to believe you're preparing to seek revenge. However, that is not the case. Again, this is a great poem.

no offense but its rather short. i mean half the reviews are longer than it. and it doesnt rhyme. oh well. ocd things. still good.
