if tomorrow all the things were gone

if tomorrow all the things were gone

A Poem by Harley (arbiter)
"

Eh

"

If tomorrow all the things where gone,

dissapeared out of the blue,

 cars trucks and suvs too,

all the buildings crumbled through,

and it left just me and you,

and we had to start anew,

do you know what we would do?

 The options would be few.

would you be happy with youre life,

knowing you lived to the fullest,

would you have said everything that you needed to say,

would you have done all that needed to be done,

would you regret anything?

 i know i would,

but if tomorrow all the things where gone,

there would be nothing I could do.

Thanks bro!
yes, i regret a lot of the mistakes I've made, but as for "starting anew" I'm all for it! This reminds me of the song, "If today was your last day" and it was another great write from you :)

What an opportunity though... to do all of those things as you felt the world was ending around you. To recognise that, well, this could be it, so turn to the one next to you and say... everything.

The first seven lines could be a complete poem by themselves, actually. They're just gorgeous and leave you wondering without having to explain. All to your imagination, which is always so much worse than reality.

"do you know what we would do?" Such implicit trust there, it's kind of sweet. A full romance in one line, or the greatest friendship around.

Thank you.

You're welcome. It was my honor
I don't regret my mistakes, I regret not learning from them. Excellent poem, Harley.

I dont regret any of my mistakes because they are the things that have made me who I am today.
