In the darkness of night

In the darkness of night

A Poem by Vaishali..^_^

In the darkness of night

I tried to light up my side

You came in front of me

With the memories so bright

I thought i wont let you go

But you went and left me so

I cried to my destiny so loud

Though i knew you vanished in the crowd

You thought I'll cry whole night

But you were wrong i fought for my pride

I'm not insane better take away this pain

You can't break me as you thought when you hate me

I'm not the one you can play with

So better get lost and stay with

Someday when you might be at my place

I'll tell you what exactly LOVE is...

...

the midnight poems are always the most powerful ones, cus you have this strong emotion in your heart, that you wanna talk to someone about, but there's no one there, so you write it down. i love this because it's so raw and beautiful and real. i can relate to some parts, i just love the power that comes with it. thanks for sharing ;)

Dark and very sad. This piece makes me think of when I'm at my darkest points. It's crazy that people can do that to you. This was a very good emtional write , well done.

Raw and intense in emotions.. sometimes to just allow those feelings to flow into writing can be soooo moving. Playing out like the feeling of sleepless nights tossing and turning.. a broken heart can feel so many things.. including the love that's no longer there and supposed to be broken.. feeling rejected, played with and tossed aside.

So many including myself can relate to this.. the high price of love when it's over.. well it's never over.. only fading. You are so young.. I hope you put that passion into a goal more worth such great fire.. like this.. writing is an awesome outlet.. keep up the great work!

As Nish said, the midnight poems are always the most powerful... Always the ones filled to the brim with the most emotion(s). I really loved this piece, it was sad... Yet, lovely. So beautiful. I can really relate to this piece, the feeling... it's just all there, tucked inside my thought process, my mind, body and heart. Again, I loved this piece of poetry. Great job, and... wonderful ending.

Great job! This is one of your best. The rhymes are good and the flow is excellent. You might want to look at this line again "You thought I'll cry whole night" You might want to change it to cry THE whole night or cry ALL night? Just and idea. Wonderfful job!
