What if

What if

A Poem by Victoria
"

what I want to say

"
What if I told our story?

What if I let it all out?

What if I spoke historical prose, defining defilement your fantasy found, and rotted the minds of people, children, lovers with the tingles and silence that fell those starry nights on us when they didn’t really belong to either of us…

What if I go there?

What if I go..back?

What if I listen to the weird I locked up in my 2 ton mind safe

to the hm I can’t seem to explain

to the oh I can’t seem to replace

to the uh I can’t seem to escape

to the no please don’t look at my face.

What if I...
Remember your touch in the wrong places.
Remember your smile and drunk laces.

Wish you were here to hear me.

Would you call me a liar or snitch?

Doesn’t matter what I say or think,

I will always be your b***h.

Make me dishonest, make me crazy

It doesn’t change who you are.

All that lust that you lost on me

has permanently left a scar.

Go on, enjoy your f*****g life,

girlfriends, good grades and s**t

I don’t need my mind, I don’t need safety

I just wish my world would fit

into that mold that happy should be,

I think I’m entitled to that.

Understand boy, you don’t own me

you owe me my life back.
