rat race.

A Poem by Dana Shefelbine

there's days where i'd like to sink into the ground.

triturated by worms, gormandized by nature.

a multitude of maggots.

a posse of arthropod.

i'd make great flowers, i'd make great dirt.

i don't mean to sound tedious.

but the human race is such a ravage...thing.
