Shades of Red

The Heavens bleeding under the cover of darkness

Liquid passions leaking from porous clouds

Scenting the Earth with fallen notes of love

Scrawling angry words in the salty soil

Hues of power absorbed by eyes with dark irises

Peeling the levity from intense reality

Clearing clouds with searing heat from soft tissues

Collecting in places where the fire burns brightest

And cool places drain as I start to feel again
