While standing in a queue I saw this guy and....

A Poem by victoria

his small stature
exuded a substance
far greater than his bulk,
it radiated through his eyes,
captivating my very soul.
He secreted
demureness
that I imagined
hid a knowing
beyond his years.
About him there was
a certain gentleness
of manner
that belied,
I guessed,
the unimaginable horrors
of his brief  past,
so stirred and curious
I felt pulled by his presence.
Yet,  a stranger to me,
to my core
he had
an odd sense
of familiarity,
that weighed heavy
as it channeled down,
hanging mid-heart
beset in a deep sigh.

Kinda spooky subject matter; written by a decidedly spooky author.
