Otherwise

A Poem by vinny ciambriello
"

About a friend of mine

"
Otherwise

She does not accept gifts
A card maybe
If it is general
Otherwise
No
The holidays are for others
She lives alone
Reads
She greets no pet
Waters no plant
For her there are other things
A bird on a bough
Out a tall window
A reminder of otherness
A gift
Unwrapped, unkept
Just like her

Interesting. Very interesting. I like it, its very nice. But, different.

"She lives alone
Reads
She greets no pet
Waters no plant"

I really like that part. Not sure why, but I do.

Another well written piece. The vibe was whimsical and subtle but yet it grabs you. 100/100
