The Attempt

Making myself for lack of words

I begin to write

In hope that I am heard

 

And fumbling with ink

It is then I think

That thoughts cannot be written

When it all begins to sink

 

So I set my pen down

Let the ink refill

Loosen my mind

In search of a will

 

And when inspiration does come

Rushes right through

Travels in waves

From my brain

To this feather

Drips a new thought

As it only gets better
