The Middle Man

The Middle Man

A Poem by wRIGHTer
"

the evolution of sexuality(gay) as seen through time..i still think the world is too fucked up to embrace whats obvious, but i think we getting there

"
Yesterday is when gay is taboo,
nothing short of a birth defected shrub.
Church and State an accepted rape,
sharing a bed of naiive thoughts.

Today is when gay is procastination.
Growing seeds of correctional rape not flourishing,
seeds of doubt,
today ends with only a rosebud instead.
Petals of intolerance,
petals of abuse, petals of acceptance,
petals of truce,
leaving the State confused, but the church hesitantly unmoved.

Tomorrow is when gay is truth.
Nothing short of blossoming,
tainted though is not this forced union.
Church and State like petals on a rose, left and right,
the rose beautiful only with gay.
