Your subject's anxiety comes through very powerfully and consistently, and the last three words "pay your bills" validates it and drives it home. It leaves the reader wondering how the subject feels now. Very nice!
You start off with rhymes in the first stanza then abandon them in the next two which is the only inconsistency I can see. Over all very powerful and real. Way to go Killer!
