When the Peasants Stand Their Ground

When the Peasants Stand Their Ground

A Poem by Wesley L Dingler

when the peasants stand their ground
the King is forced to abandon his crown

when the peasants flood the gate
let there be made no mistake

before the sun sets on the estate
the peasants will have marked his fate

A time tested theory here. Very true. Solid premise for this.

Love the rhyme scheme here. It serves the piece as a driving force that carries it forward from line to line. The message it sings is truly spoken and well stated. Again, your work has major lyrical qualities. You are quite the writer.
