Iridescent

Iridescent

A Poem by whiteNight
"

It's late. My mind tends to wander.

"
Tossing. Turning.
What am I looking for?
I'm forever searching.
Wandering through the halls-
The corridors of my troubled mind
Going on to nevermore.
Logic has been forsaken
My reason is no more
Sanity taken.
My dreams are gone
They're burning in my head
If they ever existed.
Crack. Shatter.
Watch as my childhood
Falls to abyss
Round round round
I run forevermore
To an evasive haven.
There.
In the darkness.
A single light.
Hidden by demons,
Guides me home.
