My Confession

My Confession

A Poem by The Roommates

Words - So many words to describe

feelings felt deep inside

Even saying just words are not enough

they hardly begin to justify

These "things" I feel for you

no one can even try to explain

A sensation like a gunshot wound

yet a lot deeper than the deepest pain

Do I want this suffering to end?

Do I need this bleeding heart to stop and mend?

Is this what my soul has been longing for?

For somehow I find it wanting more

My addiction for you leave memories in a haze

Your eyes. Your smile. Your heart beating with grace

Your touch. Your lips. The sound of your voice

makes these things, my heart, my soul, rejoice

No matter where fate may take me

my heart follows, yet it still leads

to you

And if unworthy words turn this true

I'll say them now, again and again

i am inlove with you

The Roommates
This poem was written by Wian. I tried to sort of defy being cheesy but every word came from the heart. If that makes it cheesy then so be it
