wounds of my past

wounds of my past

A Chapter by Pax
"

hopeful fellow...

"

The wounds of my past

lingering and wondering

through the days of my life

then you came along

and heal this dying soul

This magic coated masked melted like candles.

Your resonated flames made it into liquid nitrogen.

Making it unattainable

For me to grasp and hold into

It evaporated in the sun kissed skies.

My black salted tears evaporated

By your brightly warm glow.

I feel alive and free

The wounds faded into scars

Leaving a mark of lamented past

Reminding me that I’ve learned

I came back to this wondrous existence with you at my side

I bid farewell to the dying lands of grief

And promise not come back

As long as your light and wisdom shines on me

Never fading

Haaay, Pax. I'm really inspired by this. Paganda ng paganda ang mga gawa mo. Kung sa akin, para itong yung "New Life" ko.
Tama yan. Go go go!

A very touching and beautiful poem, inspirational and hopeful. Love poems can be cheesy, sometimes so cheesy that it stinks. But this one was nowhere near cheesy, maybe it had that delliciousness of mozarella but lol sorry im hungry! Anyway a very beautiful poem...well done my friend:-):-):-D.

A really touching poem of yours :) It's really beautiful and I'm glad that the speaker finally has something or somebody to shed beautiful light to their dark world. The world is really so much easier to bear with friends at your side and you have made that acknowledged in your poem

Excellent! Reminds me of the saying, "Every thundercloud has a silver lining" Or at least I believe that is how the quote goes. Hoping for a better tomorrow is always the best way to look at a bad situation, and your word choice is great.

I had always thought so:)
Hard to do. But must release the sadness.

When the wounds are just scars to remind us. We can move on if we are lucky. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
