I flunk!

I flunk!

A Poem by Pax
"

~ this was the time when i have nothing to write.... maybe a word play a bit but there is hidden meaning... ;)

"

I stare on a blank page, holding a thought

Unconventional imagery

Sub-divisional runway

a road - full of mystery

Signing-in to the puzzling riddle

Choices pops like a bubble

Fading, switching here and then

I rot till Forgotten

Fallen times, running in signs

Winter in summer

Cold as stone, I can’t even utter

Fragile as glass

String in Brass

Connecting

But suddenly cut

Verses in line

on top, I stop

Ending blank, I flunk !

i see the writer trying to solve the puzzle of the words that are coming in fragments to him...a barrage of ideas, but he can't solve one of them enough to write a piece that holistically has a focus...he is all over the place...

starts one piece, gets halfway through and the inspiration stops..starts another ...same thing

----keeps hitting a wall..

well said.

Sometimes I feel this way. Where in the building of a poem, I lose the original thought and feeling. This reminds me of a poets thought process, but, my friend, you certainly did not flunk. :)

thank you my friend... You are always been there, i am always thankful with you reading my work...
We`ve all been here, Pax ...and discussed it late into the night on occasion! The connected thought chains don`t often just happen, I find. There`s no easy answer...just keep pulling the chain is the only way sometimes. Eventually, something you pull out starts making sense...and then you`re away again! P.

Wow. That is so awesome and deep Mr. Pax. You have come at a point in your life where you have to make mystic choices and find your spiritual journey along with your life journey. You want to connect to the source or God( the puzzling Riddle ) for all philosophers call him that way. You are trying your best but the pages you are reading are blank , they don't make sense to you so you want the experience instead of just reading what others have wrote. I could be wrong but that is how I'm interpreting this write.
You rock MR. Pax like they say here in America...:)
