back again

back to school

not again

summers here

and i don't want it to end

 

can't we stay

just a few

more months

 

i like the sun

i like the sand

no obligations

nothing but fun

 

hanging with friends

or in the water

sleepovers on teusday

what day is it again?

 

but i do miss

all my friends

seeing them everyday

 

it'll be nice to go back

i guess

looking fowards

to weekends

 

but then they'res

the homework

and projects

and tests

 

moms saying try harder

that's not your best

all of the work

is just added stress

 

and then they'res the kids

who can be so mean

they laugh cause i'm different

i, cause theyre the same

 

no sunblock will be nice

or bugspray either

but now jeans

come into the picture

 

freezing mornings

waiting for the bus

scarves, gloves, coats

 

i guess what

i'm trying to say is

i don't want to go back

summer please stay

Anyway...well now it's well into the school year...almost second semester (eep!). I hope that you enjoy high school more than you thought you would...
