wishes

A Poem by Heather

Colours create atmospheric swirls
they surround me effortlessly,
Impossible is pearls
Dreams decieve me peacefully.
we are no strangers to the shadows
They haunt us in the nights,
We are no strangers to the shadows
They always give us a fright.
We are blinded by the fear that we are
Maybe we can release,
all of those wishes on that star
And create peace.

We are lonely, lonely in the motionless depths of life
Scarred by the things we have seen,
We must never use the threatening knife
all of those things we could have been.

Raiding our emotions we die
We die and release all of that fear,
we never did cry
As we knew the end was near, here.
