fly,flee

fly,flee

A Poem by Heather

The light glistens
Beckoning me to the end of the tunnel
I can't hear properly I can't listen
The smothering clouds swirl as if they are going through a funnel
I see two magpies
their love keeps them close
But it also leads them to cry
When one dies it causes the other to be in for a heavy dose
As they can't live without the other, they die
Foolish they run
They hide in the darkness,fearful
They are able to see from the sidelines each and every gun
And it makes them tearful.
We should all learn to forgive and forget
we can never pretend
Life should be let be and left alone, left
Otherwise everything will eventually reach a bumpy eternal end.
