mama remembering you

mother day is coming

i can remember when as  little boy,
growing up  in a every changing world,
how my mother gave me much love,
skin my knee mama was there for me,
runny nose she was there with a hankie
telling me to blow,

mama knew when i needed food,
 from the tree of life she often fed me,
the fruits of GODS,
she would often say wizthom partake of this,
it will help you to grow strong and wise,

to be found pleasing in your fathers eyes,
i didn't know then but i know now,
she was talking about GOD ,

there wasn't a problem mama couldn't fix,
even when my first girl friend broke my heart,
she would say  boy give yourself a chance to mend,
there'll be other girlfriends ,son don't give up,
never on love, for love heals all in time,

mama oh mama ,
mothers day is here,
mama oh mama ,
i'm feeling you,
mama oh mama,
much love,much love

my heart is filled with memories  of you,
mama is it true that you are teaching the angels ,
to sing in harmony,,,sweet sweet harmony,

mama life for me now,
has rules that i just can't get use to,
mama how i miss you,mama never will i forget you,
in my heart of hearts i know we will meet again,
up in heaven with  generations of family,
until that blessed day,

you will live on in heart mind and soul,
be with me where ever i go,,
i even see you in the eyes of my daughter,
smiling back at me,my dreams when i am troubled,
mama i love you,i truly do,,,i wrote this for you,,

Wonderful ode to your mother - she was obviously very wise and caring and has had a tremendous impact on your life as my own mother and grandmother have.
