Colours of You

Colours of You

A Poem by Wendi A

A crimson cardinal proudly parades its beauty

Gold bangle bracelets shimmer in the sunlight

Amber candles light windows at Christmas

Red Door perfume trails a night at the theatre

Orange sunsets glow across a shell-filled beach

Angelic white petals protect yellow daisy hearts

Autumn leaves boast beautiful colours, then let go.

Withering, expiring, and returning to eternal rest.
