Random Sonnet - "The Risen"

Random Sonnet - "The Risen"

A Poem by Wolfwind Poetry and Art

(Sonnet format: abab cdcd efef gg)

The carriage is set upon this day
Not elequent with forefathers tongue
Fearful of this wine pouring play
Not able to feal the ladders rung.
Unsettled view in the moments made
A scant pulse that quivers our mind
It must be said to what was played
Tis not late to come from behind.
Keep the feet while walking alone
Worry once by that which can fly
Victory comes with a simple throne
A symphony carries all people high.
Not but truth that survives the hour
Rather the meek that refuse to cower.
