A Chapter by Wondering Mind
"

never felt comfortable in them

"

conform
and you will rise in life

they schooled
I wasn’t fooled

and then
it was only
when

I embraced my insanity
and flew
discovering life

is better
without a straight jacket

This is amazing. I love the raw irony in this, especially from the first two lines to the last. It acknowledges how conformity seems to be the way people are taught to succeed, but you derive the idea that living your life the way you want is the best way to live. Excellent thought behind this.

"All-in-all it's just another brick in the wall" !! Thanks for reading my insanity :)
We have this need in life to fit in and our society has a way of forcing restraints on the way we live our lives.

Individuality is key and believing in yourself that you can do anything you want and be who you want to be..... isn't that how life is meant to be.

I love how your wondering mind thinks..... this was effortless and flowed freely...

Excellent write :o)

So true! Life is better without a straight jacket...I love the irony of this...the "insanity" setting you free to fly and discover life.
Fabulous! Great write!

bravo! they do tend to make it hard to scratch the itchy places! in-sanity , insanity, maybe the sane ones are the crazies and the crazies have learned how to be free, and all they lack is control, lol.
