Without You

Without You

A Chapter by Wondering Mind

The sun sinks slowly

into her sea of unknown.

Night sews stiff around

this sorrowing soul.

You loved sunsets.

Another day passes.

Cruel,

callous in his consumption

of my cup of life..

But with every memory

the mind relives of you,

I am revived. Alive!

All the same

these moments mar my veins as they move

in every heart-beat

  without you.
