A Chapter by Wondering Mind

these little places in my heart

in which only you have played

those that

I keep tidy and locked,

ready for you.

they miss you so.

oh, it takes my breath away, makes my heart ache

this is what poetry should be

Gave me goose bumps. It was tender and loving, and it brought to mind all these images of baby clothes and toys. Your writing is so clear and purposeful, you say so much with so little where others ramble on and on with nothing to say. I love reading your writing.

Incredible, wondering mind. Everyday, one of you other souls reflect exactly what I'm thinking throughout the day; though, I can't let them in anymore because my house is dirty... Very beautiful work, and that longing plucking on the strings that make our soul.

Oh this is so sad. It made me cry. I feel this way too about my ex-husband. Thank you for sharing. It's beautiful!

It's such a beautiful tragic void to hold on to those loved ones long gone. Rather they pass or choose to leave all on their own, we cling on to heartache proned by memories of these beautiful soul's once captivating pieces of our lives.

Thanks for expressing it.

Oh, oh how tender. Here..hold my hand a minute.. you don't have to say anything.. just hold my hand a minute.

And this is something I can understand, completely, and how beautifully you capture what is never really gone, but is so missed.
