Blink-Dream

Everything is relative

Do they dream?

 

I imagine that a blink

would be a good night’s sleep

in the life-time of a common fly.

it's not a poem, just a simple thought, and I don't want to swat it

No they don't blink because they have no eyelids, but I do think they sleep and dream like all living creatures, but if it is still it may have been sleeping and dreaming of "misses fly" or something equally wonderful like a fly 'fly" ride so hopefully if you did swat it , maybe it died happy :(
