Young Lady

A Chapter by Wondering Mind

these white streaks,
they may remind you
of childhood snowball fights
and happy sledge rides

and home

and

the years
I know you can see

but look closer and tell me

do the days show well
the wrinkles they defined?

and if so,
do you still want to know?

The gray hairs of experience and life. You play with words beautifully to make your point.

I love this, most of line of age are from happiness and joy experienced. By the time I leave this earth I hope I have the most laugh lines, because I would have had a joy filled life. Truly an amazing poem.
