The Mathematics of Alice

Team Renfield- 4 Alice in Wonderland is no just a story. Many of the scenes reference mathematical theory, as I see it.

Mathematics is a rabbit hole

and you’ll discover as you fall

some words of weird nonsense

which make much mathematical sense

“going out all together, like a candle”

is the infamous “limit” handle

The Pool of Tears multiplications

were perfect, but in base notations

“Girls are like serpents”, the pigeon asserted

that’s how abstract variables are converted

and Mad Hatter at the Tea Party conversed

but logically he did relationships inverse

and The Cheshire Cat faded to her smile

now that’s delineation from a mile!

mathematical sense may be clearer than our way of thinking because with math and it's formulas there can be no room for ambiguity. it may be confusing and nonsense for us to hear, but it doesn't matter because it makes sense to alice and is not for us to understand.
