For Me

For Me

A Chapter by Wondering Mind

For me,

never a possession.

I’m not possessive anyway.

may be I’m too sure

of the past,

or uncertain of

what tomorrow hides

And you’re not mine

of that I'm sure

just like my past

But I thank the Heavens

that you are

for me

This relates a lot... so simplistic, realistic, but underneath it expands itself in a way, for me at least. Sort of like a riddle with overlapping possibilities... anyway I'm waffling/trying to explain what I can't.
Really enjoyed this, thanks. =)

Very well expressed the way you can never posses someone but they can give themselves to you. Nice work

Stunning. In this day and age to find someone who loves likes this seems much more rare. This is a beautiful expression of what should be... :)

Dear Wondering Mind,

Very nice. Simple. Straightforward. People cannot be possessed, but a person can give themselves to another.

Nicely written.

Best regards,

Rick
