A Comet

a wee tribute; in appreciation of many

like stars
burning with emotion
                 with thought
 

 lights in the dark 
                shinning beautiful
                              direction

 

a comet

 

I roam

orbiting their realm
               wandering
                

wondering

 

that
I may have been

once

 

of the same essence

If that essence could be described as unique and creative, your position has always been secure.
While realizing this piece is also a cosmological statement, I just felt strongly compelled to deal with what seems to me to be an inapplicable personal metaphor.
Still, this is lovely work, wherein brilliance knows humility .
